Rangers fan earns biggest fool award
Player tosses ball. Baby reaches for it. Old man grabs it instead. Baby cries.
That’s the order of events at the Rangers-Yankees game Wednesday night when a young boy was robbed of a piece of nostalgia from his neighboring fan.
The Rangers saw the boy crying, so they tossed him a ball as well, which gives this story a happy ending.
Props to Michael Kay and the YES announcers for noticing the gentleman snatching the ball out of the air before the boy could catch it.
