Barack should have known better. Not that he’ll win over Massachusetts in an election against Mitt Romney anyway, but the President should probably not have boasted about the recent Kevin Youkilis trade in a speech he made in Beantown.

“Boston, I just want to say thank you for Youkilis,” Obama said to an audience at Symphony Hall.

A big White Sox fan and Chicago native, Obama is happy Youk will be donning a set of newly colored socks of the White variety from his longstanding Red.
